The Future Manus and the Avatāras in Their Manvantaras
This verse states that Rudra-sāvarṇi will be the twelfth Manu, a future ruler of mankind during his Manvantara.
In this section (Manvantara descriptions), Śukadeva outlines the succession of Manus to explain the ordered flow of cosmic time, divine administration, and the continuity of dharma across ages.
They cultivate a long-view of life—seeing history and change within a divine order—encouraging steadiness in devotion and duty rather than anxiety over temporary worldly shifts.
