Chapter 365 — क्षत्रविट्शूद्रवर्गाः

The Classes of Kṣatriyas, Vaiśyas, and Śūdras

षण्डो वर्षवरस्तुल्याः सेवकार्थ्यनुजीविनः विषयानन्तरो राजा शत्रुर्मित्रमतः परं

ṣaṇḍo varṣavarastulyāḥ sevakārthyanujīvinaḥ viṣayānantaro rājā śatrurmitramataḥ paraṃ

Ein Eunuch (ṣaṇḍa) gilt als dem Besten unter den Frauen gleich; und auch jene, die vom Dienst an anderen leben — Abhängige, die sich durch Dienst und Bittgesuche erhalten — gehören zu derselben Klasse. Ein König, dessen Reich an das eigene Gebiet grenzt, ist als Feind zu behandeln; jenseits von ihm gilt der Herrscher als Freund und Verbündeter.
