Sage Parāśara (teaching Maitreya)
It denotes beings whose nature and momentum are oriented upward—toward subtler, higher states of existence—marked by clarity, luminosity, and unobstructed consciousness.
He characterizes them as joy-filled and unveiled—radiant inwardly and outwardly—indicating an existence less bound by obscuration and more aligned with sattva and ascent.
The ordered gradation of beings and realms functions under Vishnu’s sovereign cosmic order, where higher luminosity and ascent reflect closer alignment with the sustaining Supreme Reality.
