Verse 24

Kshurika

प्राणायामसुतीक्ष्णेन मात्राधारेण योगवित् । वैराग्योपलघृष्टेन छित्त्वा तं तु न बध्यते ॥२४॥

प्राणायाम-सुतीक्ष्णेन । मात्रा-आधारेण । योग-वित् । वैराग्य-उपल-घृष्टेन । छित्त्वा । तम् । तु । न । बध्यते ।

prāṇāyāmasutīkṣṇena mātrādhāreṇa yogavit | vairāgyopalaghṛṣṭena chittvā taṃ tu na badhyate ||24||

যোগবিদ প্রाणায়ামরূপ অতি-তীক্ষ্ণ অস্ত্রে, মাত্রা-আধার (নিয়ত পরিমাপ) অবলম্বন করে, বৈরাগ্যের শিলায় শান দিয়ে, সেই বন্ধন ছিন্ন করে; অতঃপর সে আর আবদ্ধ হয় না।

The knower of yoga, with the very sharp (instrument) of prāṇāyāma, supported by measured units (mātrā-ādhāra), and honed on the whetstone of dispassion, having cut that (bond/obstruction), is not bound.
