अहं तात यथाकालमामिषार्थी खमाप्लुतः।महेन्द्रस्य गिरेर्द्वारमावृत्य सुसमास्थितः।।।।
ahaṃ tāta yathākālam āmiṣārthī kham āplutaḥ | mahendrasya girer dvāram āvṛtya su-samāsthitaḥ || 4.59.12 ||
‘পিতা, যথাসময়ে আমি মাংসের সন্ধানে আকাশে উড়ে গিয়েছিলাম; মহেন্দ্র পর্বতের দ্বার রুদ্ধ করে দৃঢ়ভাবে সেখানে অবস্থান করেছিলাম।’
'O dear father! I went to get food at the right time and stood blocking the entrance of mount Mahendra.
