सप्तचत्वारिंशः सर्गः — वानरयूथपानां अन्वेषणवृत्तान्तनिवेदनम्

गहनेषु च देशेषु दुर्गेषु विषमेषु च।सत्त्वान्यतिप्रमाणानि विचितानि हतानि च।।4.47.13।।ये चैव गहना देशा विचितास्ते पुनः पुनः।
gahaneṣu ca deśeṣu durgeṣu viṣameṣu ca |
sattvāny atipramāṇāni vicitāni hatāni ca || 4.47.13 ||
ye caiva gahanā deśā vicitās te punaḥ punaḥ |
ঘন অরণ্যের অন্তঃস্থলে, দুর্গম দুর্গে ও বিষম ভূমিতেও তারা অনুসন্ধান করল। সেখানে অতিবৃহৎ বন্য প্রাণী দেখা গেল—অন্বেষিত হল এবং কতক নিহতও হল; আর যে সব কঠিন অঞ্চল, সেগুলি বারংবার পরীক্ষা করে দেখা হল।
