Sugriva’s Remorse and Tara’s Lament after Vali’s Death
तस्येन्द्रकल्पस्य दुरासदस्यमहानुभावस्य समीपमार्या।आर्ताऽतितूर्णं व्यसनाभिपन्नाजगाम तारा परिविह्वलन्ती।।
tasyendrakalpasya durāsadasya mahānubhāvasya samīpam āryā |
ārtā ’titūrṇaṁ vyasanābhipannā jagāma tārā parivihvalantī ||
বিপদে পীড়িত, অত্যন্ত আর্ত ও কাঁপতে কাঁপতে অস্থির হয়ে, মহীয়ান, ইন্দ্রসম ও দুরাসদ শ্রী রামের সান্নিধ্যে কুলবধূ তারা দ্রুত গিয়ে উপস্থিত হল।
The noble Tara, desperate, agonised, totally shaken up quickly went near the magnanimous Rama, who was like Indra-unapproachable.
