May the one who counselled the exile of my esteemed brother acquire the demerit in the same way as a person, who partakes the sweet milk-rice, sesame-rice and goat's flesh without purpose (without invoking and offering it to the gods) and disrespects the teachers!
Dharma includes reverence (for gurus) and sacred intentionality: enjoyment divorced from higher duty, paired with disrespect to teachers, signals moral decline.
Bharata continues to denounce the counselor of exile, invoking social-religious markers of adharma: irreverent consumption and contempt for elders.
Respect for tradition and teachers—Bharata frames guru-disrespect as a serious ethical failure.
