गोदावरीतटे सीतान्वेषणम्
The Search for Sītā at the Godāvarī
निराशस्तु तया नद्या सीताया दर्शने कृतः।उवाच रामस्सौमित्रिं सीतादर्शनकर्शितः।।।।
nirāśas tu tayā nadyā sītāyā darśane kṛtaḥ | uvāca rāmaḥ saumitriṃ sītādarśanakarśitaḥ ||
নদী থেকে কোনো উত্তর না পেয়ে রাম নিরাশ হলেন। সীতার দর্শন না পাওয়ার যন্ত্রণায় ক্লান্ত হয়ে তিনি সৌমিত্রি (লক্ষ্মণ)-কে বললেন।
