काञ्चनं रथमास्थाय कामगं रत्नभूषितम्।पिशाचवदनैर्युक्तं खरैः काञ्चनभूषणैः।।3.35.6।।मेघप्रतिमनादेन स तेन धनदानुजः।राक्षसाधिपतिश्श्रीमान्ययौ नदनदीपतिम्।।3.35.7।।
kāñcanaṃ ratham āsthāya kāmagaṃ ratnabhūṣitam |
piśācavadanair yuktaṃ kharaiḥ kāñcanabhūṣaṇaiḥ ||
meghapratimanādena sa tena dhanadānujaḥ |
rākṣasādhipatiḥ śrīmān yayau nadanadīpatim ||
রত্নখচিত, ইচ্ছামতো চলতে সক্ষম স্বর্ণরথে আরূঢ় হয়ে—সোনার অলংকারে ভূষিত পিশাচমুখ গাধায় যুক্ত—মেঘগর্জনসম নাদে ধনদ-কুবেরের অনুজ, শ্রীমান রাক্ষসাধিপতি রাবণ নদ-নদীর অধিপতি সমুদ্রের দিকে যাত্রা করল।
