हंसक्रौञ्चप्लवाकीर्णं सारसैस्सम्प्रणादितम्।वैढूर्यप्रस्तरं रम्यं स्निग्धं सागरतेजसा।।।।

vaiḍhūryaprastaraṃ ramyaṃ snigdhaṃ sāgaratejasā ||3.35.18||

সে স্থানটি হাঁস, ক্রৌঞ্চ ও প্লব পাখিতে পরিপূর্ণ, সারসদের মধুর ধ্বনিতে মুখরিত ছিল; বৈঢূর্য-মণিসদৃশ শিলাস্তরের সৌন্দর্যে মনোরম এবং সাগরের তেজে স্নিগ্ধ দীপ্তিময় ছিল।
