haviṣyaṃ ca vitānaṃ ca vidhānaśamitāvapi vatsaraṃ caiva bhūtiṃ ca sarvāsuraniṣūdanam //
This verse is not about pralaya; it focuses on ritual offerings and the protective, prosperity-bestowing results of correctly performed sacrificial procedure.
It supports the householder/kingly duty of maintaining dharma through properly regulated yajña and offerings—seeking social stability, prosperity (bhūti), and the removal of harmful forces through vidhāna (correct ritual method).
Ritually, it highlights haviṣya-offering and vitāna (the expanded ritual arrangement/canopy) and stresses that correct vidhāna (procedure) itself produces śānti (pacification) and protective efficacy.
