Transliteration

*śaunaka uvāca sā vismayaṃ devayānīṃ gatāṃ saktāṃ ca vāsasi śarmiṣṭhā prākṣipatkūpe tataḥ svapuramāviśat //

Translation

শৌনক বললেন—তখন দেবযানীকে বিস্ময়ে স্তম্ভিত ও বস্ত্রে জড়িয়ে থাকতে দেখে শর্মিষ্ঠা তাকে কূপে নিক্ষেপ করল; তারপর সে নিজের নগরে প্রবেশ করল।
