Bhīṣma–Arjuna Strategic Engagement at Virāṭa’s Frontier (भीष्मार्जुनयुद्धम्)
ततः प्रववृते युद्ध पृथिव्यामेकवीरयो: । रणमध्ये द्वयोरेवं सुमहल्लोमहर्षणम्,इसके बाद उस रणभूमिमें भूमण्डलके इन दोनों अनुपम वीरोंका ऐसा भयंकर संग्राम हुआ, जो रोंगटे खड़े कर देनेवाला था
tataḥ pravavṛte yuddhaṃ pṛthivyām ekavīrayoḥ | raṇamadhye dvayor evaṃ sumahallomaharṣaṇam ||
এরপর সেই রণভূমিতে ঐ দুই অনন্য বীরের দ্বন্দ্বযুদ্ধ শুরু হল। যুদ্ধক্ষেত্রের মাঝখানে তাদের সংঘর্ষ এমন ভয়ংকর ও রোমাঞ্চকর হয়ে উঠল যে রোমকূপ দাঁড়িয়ে যায়।
