Arjuna’s Concentrated Archery and the Rout of the Kaurava Mahārathas
Gāṇḍīva-Nirghoṣa Episode
तत:ः कनकपवग्रिर्वीर: संनतपर्वभि: । त्वरन् गाण्डीवनिर्मुक्तैरर्जुनस्तस्य वाजिन:
tataḥ kanakapavagrir vīraḥ sannatapārva-bhiḥ | tvaran gāṇḍīva-nirmuktair arjunas tasya vājinaḥ ||
তখন বীর সব্যসাচী অর্জুন গাণ্ডীব থেকে দ্রুত চারটি উৎকৃষ্ট তীক্ষ্ণ শর ছাড়ল—সোনালি ফল ও সুগঠিত, সামান্য বাঁকা গাঁটযুক্ত। সেই শরগুলিতে কৃপাচার্যের চার অশ্ব বিদ্ধ হলো। বিষাগ্নিতে দগ্ধ সর্পের মতো আঘাতে তারা হঠাৎ লাফিয়ে উঠল, আর কৃপ নিজের স্থান থেকে ছিটকে পড়ল।
