बिभेमि कुन्त्या या नाहं युष्माकं वा कदाचन । साद्याग्रतो विराटस्य भीता तिष्ठामि किड्करी,(फिर वह सिसकती हुई बोली--) “नाथ! जो पहले कभी आर्या कुन्तीसे अथवा तुमलोगोंसे भी नहीं डरती थी, वही द्रौपदी आज दासी होकर राजा विराटके आगे भयभीत- सी खड़ी रहती है”
bibhemi kuntyā yā nāhaṃ yuṣmākaṃ vā kadācana | sādyāgrato virāṭasya bhītā tiṣṭhāmi kiṅkarī ||
হে নাথ! যে আমি কখনও আর্যা কুন্তীকে, কিংবা তোমাদের কাউকেই ভয় করিনি—সেই আমি আজ দাসী হয়ে রাজা বিরাটের সামনে ভয়ে কাঁপতে কাঁপতে দাঁড়িয়ে আছি।
