अहं वने दुर्वसतीर्वसन्‌ परमदु:खित: । अक्षद्यूताधिकारे च गिर: शृण्वन्‌ सुदारुणा:

Transliteration

ahaṃ vane durvasatīr vasan paramaduḥkhitaḥ | akṣadyūtādhikāre ca giraḥ śṛṇvan sudāruṇāḥ ||

Translation

আমি গভীর দুঃখে, কঠোর অবস্থায় বনে বাস করি। যে সভায় পাশাখেলা হয়েছিল, সেখানে প্রতিপক্ষদের মুখে আমাকে অত্যন্ত নির্মম কথা শুনতে হয়েছিল। সেই স্মৃতির দংশন হৃদয়ে গেঁথে আছে; তা স্মরণ করে আমি সারারাত উদ্বেগমগ্ন থাকি।
