ekagrīvaikajaṭharaḥ kumāraḥ samapadyata | dvitīyāyām abhivyaktas tṛtīyāyāṁ śiśur babhūva |

Translation

মার্কণ্ডেয় বললেন—সে কুমার একটিমাত্র গ্রীবা ও একটিমাত্র উদরসহ জন্ম নিল। দ্বিতীয় পর্যায়ে সে স্পষ্টভাবে প্রকাশ পেল, আর তৃতীয় পর্যায়ে সে সুগঠিত শিশুরূপে দীপ্ত হল।
