आहुकस्य वचो वीर तस्यैव परिचारक: । विषण्ण: सन्नकण्ठेन तन्निबोध युधिछिर
āhukasya vaco vīra tasyaiva paricārakaḥ | viṣaṇṇaḥ sannakaṇṭhena tannibodha yudhiṣṭhira ||
হে বীর! আহুক (উগ্রসেন)-এর সেই পরিচারক বিষণ্ণ হয়ে, রুদ্ধকণ্ঠে কথা বলল। হে যুধিষ্ঠির! তার বাণী মনোযোগ দিয়ে শোনো।
वायुदेव उवाच
Even distressing truth must be conveyed faithfully, and a dharmic ruler should receive grave news with composure, attentive listening, and readiness to act rightly.
