বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন—তার লেজের ফটকারের সেই চটাস ধ্বনি, যা মাতাল হাতির তূর্যধ্বনির চেয়েও প্রবল, যেন এক মুহূর্তে অন্তর্হিত হয়ে আবার বিচিত্র পর্বতঢাল ও শৈলশ্রেণির মধ্যে ঘুরে বেড়িয়ে চারদিকে ছড়িয়ে পড়ল।
