Adhyāya 96: Nārada Guides Mātali in Varuṇa’s Realm
Varuṇa-loka Darśana
मुहूर्तमरणास्त्वन्ये मानुषा मृगपक्षिण: । तैर्यग्योन्याक्ष॒ ये चान्ये जीवलोकचरास्तथा
muhūrtamaraṇās tv anye mānuṣā mṛgapakṣiṇaḥ | tairyyagyonīyākṣā ye cānye jīvalokacarās tathā ||
কণ্ব বললেন—কিছু প্রাণী তো এক মুহূর্তেই মরে যায়—মানুষ, পশু ও পাখি। তেমনি তির্যক্-যোনিতে জন্মানো এবং জীবলোকে বিচরণকারী অন্যান্য সত্তারাও দ্রুত মৃত্যুকে পায়।
