Kṛṣṇa at Duryodhana’s House: Refusal of Hospitality and Departure to Vidura (कृष्णस्य धार्तराष्ट्रनिवेशनगमनम्)
दुर्योधनेन निकृता वर्षमद्य चतुर्दशम् । दुःखादपि सुखं न: स्याद् यदि पुण्यफलक्षय:
duryodhanena nikṛtā varṣam adya caturdaśam | duḥkhād api sukhaṃ naḥ syād yadi puṇyaphalakṣayaḥ ||
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন—দুর্যোধন কপট পাশাখেলায় আমাদের বঞ্চিত করে রাজ্য কেড়ে নিয়েছে। এই দুঃসহ অবস্থায় আজ চতুর্দশ বছরও অতিক্রান্ত হল। যদি সুখভোগ মানেই পুণ্যফলের ক্ষয় হয়, তবে পাপফলের দুঃখ আমরা ভোগ করেছি—অতএব দুঃখের পরে আমাদেরও সুখ প্রাপ্য।
