The verse uses a shift in nature—from turbulence to calm—as an auspicious sign: disorder can be dispelled swiftly, and a favorable turn (śiva) may arise, encouraging steadiness and readiness as events approach a decisive moment.
The narrator describes the weather clearing instantly: clouds break apart and disappear, a cool favorable wind begins to blow, and the dust settles—marking a calm, auspicious transition in the unfolding events of the Udyoga Parva.
