तदा देवासुरे युद्धे भये जाते दिवौकसाम् | अयाचत महात्मानौ नरनारायणौ वरम्
tadā devāsure yuddhe bhaye jāte divaukasām | ayācata mahātmānau naranārāyaṇau varam |
সেই সময় দেব-অসুর যুদ্ধ উপস্থিত হল, আর স্বর্গবাসীদের মধ্যে মহাভয় জাগল; তখন তারা মহাত্মা নর-নারায়ণের কাছে বর প্রার্থনা করল।
