Sañjaya’s Report
उद्धर्तयन् दस्युसड्घान् समेतान् प्रवर्तयन् युगमन्यद् युगान्ते । यदा थक्ष्याम्यग्निवत् कौरवेयां- स्तदा तप्ता धृतराष्ट्र: सपुत्र:
sañjaya uvāca |
uddhartayan dasyu-saṅghān sametān pravartayan yugam anyad yugānte |
yadā thakṣyāmy agnivat kauraveyāṁs tadā taptā dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ sa-putraḥ ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—যখন আমি যুদ্ধের জন্য সমবেত এই দস্যুসমূহকে নির্মূল করে, যুগান্তে যেন আরেক যুগের প্রবাহ ঘটাই; যখন অগ্নির মতো জ্বলে উঠে কৌরবদের দগ্ধ করতে শুরু করব—তখন ধৃতরাষ্ট্র পুত্রসমেত দগ্ধ যন্ত্রণায় কাতর হবে।
