Sañjaya’s Report
सेनाग्रगं दंशितं भीमसेनं स्वालक्षणं वीरहणं परेषाम् | घ्नन्तं चमूमन्तकसंनिकाशं तदा स्मर्ता वचनस्थातिमानी
saṅjaya uvāca | senāgra-gaṁ daṁśitaṁ bhīmasenaṁ svalakṣaṇaṁ vīrahaṇaṁ pareṣām | ghnantaṁ camūm antaka-sannikāśaṁ tadā smartā vacanasthātimānī ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—যখন বর্মধারী ভীমসেন সেনার অগ্রভাগে প্রবল বেগে ধাবিত হবেন—নিজস্ব লক্ষণে চিহ্নিত হলেও শত্রুপক্ষে দুর্বোধ্য—এবং শত্রুর বীরদের নিধন করতে করতে অন্তকসম হয়ে বিপক্ষ সেনাকে ধ্বংস করতে থাকবেন, তখন অতিশয় অহংকারী দুর্যোধন আমার এই বাক্য স্মরণ করবে।
