द्वेष्यो न साधुर्भवति न मेधावी न पण्डित: । प्रिये शुभानि कार्याणि द्वेष्पे पापानि चैव ह
Translation
যার প্রতি দ্বেষ জন্মায়, সে না সাধু, না মেধাবী, না পণ্ডিত বলেই প্রতীয়মান হয়। প্রিয়জনের (মিত্র প্রভৃতি) সব কাজই শুভ মনে হয়, আর দ্বেষ্য (শত্রু)-এর সব কাজ পাপময় বলে মনে হয়।
