Educational Q&A

Bhishma frames unchecked hostility as a force that invites collective ruin; he urges decisive, responsible action to prevent injustice from maturing into destruction, emphasizing personal accountability in a collapsing moral order.

In the tense pre-war setting of the Udyoga Parva, Bhishma addresses a key figure in the Kuru crisis, warning that by relying on him as a support, enmity has intensified into a major wrong that threatens the Kuru house; he calls for protective measures and resolute conduct.
