त्रिगर्ता भ्रातर: पजच रथोदारा मता मम | कृतवैराश्न पार्थस्ते विराटनगरे तदा
Trigartā bhrātaraḥ pañca rathodārā matā mama | kṛtavairāś ca pārthais te Virāṭanagare tadā ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—ত্রিগর্ত দেশের সেই পাঁচ ভাই আমার মতে উদার ও সক্ষম রথী; কিন্তু তখন বিরাটনগরে তারা পাণ্ডবদের সঙ্গে বৈর বাঁধে, কারণ দক্ষিণ গোগ্রহ-সংক্রান্ত যুদ্ধে তাদের শত্রুতা আরও বেড়ে গিয়েছিল।
