Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 165 — Bhīṣma’s Appraisal and Karṇa’s Rebuttal (भीष्म–कर्ण विवादः)
एतस्य रथसिंहस्य तवार्थे राजसत्तम । पराक्रम यथेन्द्रस्य द्रक्ष्यन्ति कुरवो युधि
etasya rathasiṁhasya tavārthe rājasattama | parākramaṁ yathendrasya drakṣyanti kuravo yudhi ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—হে রাজশ্রেষ্ঠ, তোমারই জন্য যুদ্ধে কুরুবীরেরা রথযোদ্ধাদের মধ্যে সিংহসম এই কাম্বোজরাজের ইন্দ্রসম বীর্য প্রত্যক্ষ করবে। রণক্ষেত্রে তার পরাক্রম প্রকাশ পাবে, আর কৌরবেরা তা দেখবে।
