प्राच्यै: प्रतीच्यैरथ दाक्षिणात्यै- रुदीच्यकाम्बोजशकै: खशैश्न । शाल्वै: समत्स्यै: कुरुमध्यदेश्यै- म्लेच्छै: पुलिन्दैर्द्रविडान्ध्रकाउचयै:

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

prācyaiḥ pratīcyair atha dākṣiṇātyair

udīcyakāmbojaśakaiḥ khaśaiś ca |

śālvaiḥ samatsyaiḥ kurumadhyadeśyaiḥ

mlecchaiḥ pulindair draviḍāndhrakāñcyaiḥ ||

Translation

সঞ্জয় বললেন— কৌরবসেনা সর্বদিক থেকে রক্ষিত—পূর্ব, পশ্চিম, দক্ষিণ ও উত্তর দিকের রাজাদের দ্বারা; কাম্বোজ, শক ও খশদের দ্বারা; শাল্ব ও মৎস্যদের দ্বারা; কুরু ও মধ্যদেশীয় যোদ্ধাদের দ্বারা; আর সীমান্তবাসী ম্লেচ্ছ-পুলিন্দদের সঙ্গে দ্রাবিড়, অন্ধ্র ও কাঞ্চীর বীরদের দ্বারা।
