इति कुन्ती विनिश्ित्य कार्यनिश्चयमुत्तमम् । कार्यार्थमभिनिश्चित्य ययौ भागीरथीं प्रति
iti kuntī viniścitya kāryaniścayam uttamam | kāryārtham abhiniścitya yayau bhāgīrathīṃ prati ||
এইভাবে কুন্তী শ্রেষ্ঠ কর্তব্য স্থির করলেন। উদ্দেশ্যসিদ্ধির জন্য দৃঢ় সিদ্ধান্তে পৌঁছে তিনি ভাগীরথী—গঙ্গার—দিকে অগ্রসর হলেন।
