Udyoga Parva Adhyaya 133 — A Mother’s Counsel to Saṃjaya
महाहमाल्याभरणां सुमृष्टाम्बरवाससम् | पुरा हृष्ट: सुहृद्र्गो मामपश्यत् सुहृदूगताम्
mahāhārābharaṇāṃ sumṛṣṭāmbaravāsasam | purā hṛṣṭaḥ suhṛdṛggo mām apaśyat suhṛdāgatām ||
পূর্বকালে আমার সুহৃদ্-হিতৈষীরা যখন আমাকে স্বজনদের মাঝে মূল্যবান মালা-হার ও অলংকারে ভূষিত, অতিশয় সুন্দর ও নির্মল বস্ত্রে আচ্ছাদিত হয়ে আসতে দেখেছিল, তখন তারা মহা আনন্দে উদ্বেল হয়েছিল।
