kadarthīkṛtya tad vākyam ṛṣeḥ kaṇvasya durmatiḥ | ūruṁ gajakarākāraṁ tāḍayann idam abravīt |
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন—দুর্মতি সেই ব্যক্তি ঋষি কণ্বের বাক্যকে অবজ্ঞা করে, হাতির শুঁড়ের মতো স্থূল উরুতে আঘাত করে এ কথা বলল।
