भविष्यति जयो देवा: शक्रस्थ मम तेजसा । अदृश्यश्ष प्रवेक्ष्यामि वज्ञे हास्यायुधोत्तमे,देवताओ! मेरे तेजसे इन्द्रकी विजय होगी। मैं इनके उत्तम आयुध वज्रमें अदृश्यभावसे प्रवेश करूँगा
bhaviṣyati jayo devāḥ śakrastha mama tejasā | adṛśyaḥ praviśyāmi vajre hāsyāyudhottame ||
শল্য বললেন—হে দেবগণ! আমার তেজের প্রভাবে শক্র (ইন্দ্র)-এর বিজয় অবশ্যই ঘটবে। আমি অদৃশ্য হয়ে তাঁর শ্রেষ্ঠ অস্ত্র বজ্রে প্রবেশ করব, যাতে তা বিজয়ী হয়।
