स्वस्ति वाच्य द्विजानादौ ततः कार्ये प्रवर्तिते । समाप्ते पर्वणि ततः स्वशकक््त्या पूजयेद् द्विजान्
svasti vācya dvijān ādau tataḥ kārye pravartite | samāpte parvaṇi tataḥ svaśaktyā pūjayed dvijān ||
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন— প্রথমে ব্রাহ্মণদের দ্বারা স্বস্তিবাচন করিয়ে, তারপর কীর্তন/পাঠের কার্য আরম্ভ করা উচিত। পর্ব সমাপ্ত হলে, নিজের সামর্থ্য অনুসারে সেই ব্রাহ্মণদের পূজা ও সম্মান করা কর্তব্য।
