Svargārohaṇa-parva Adhyāya 2 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry for His Kin and the Vision of a Punitive Realm
स तीव्रगन्धसंतप्तो देवदूतमुवाच ह । गम्यतां तत्र येषां त्वं दूतस्तेषामुपान्तिकम्
sa tīvra-gandha-santapto deva-dūtam uvāca ha | gamyatāṃ tatra yeṣāṃ tvaṃ dūtas teṣām upāntikam |
অসহ্য দুর্গন্ধে দগ্ধ হয়ে তিনি দেবদূতকে বললেন—“যাঁদের দূত তুমি, তাঁদের কাছেই ফিরে যাও। আমি সেখানে যাব না; আমি এখানেই থাকব। তোমার প্রভুদের এ কথা জানিয়ে দিও। কারণ আমার সান্নিধ্যে এখানে আমার এই দুঃখিত ভ্রাতা ও স্বজনেরা সামান্য হলেও সান্ত্বনা পায়।”
