शार्टूलमिव सिंहेन समरे सव्यसाचिना । मातड़मिव मत्तेन मातड्रेन निपातितम्‌

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | śārṭūlam iva siṃhena samare savyasācinā | mātaṅgam iva mattena mātaṅgreṇa nipātitam ||

Translation

বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন—সমরে সব্যসাচী অর্জুন সেই বীরকে তেমনই নিপাতিত করলেন, যেমন সিংহ শার্দূলকে ফেলে দেয়, অথবা মত্ত গজরাজ অন্য এক প্রবল গজকে ভূমিসাৎ করে।
