Rules for Dharmic Victory in Kṣatriya Engagement
इषुर्लिप्तो न कर्णी स्यादसतामेतदायुधम् । यथार्थमेव योद्धव्यं न क्रुद्धयेत जिघांसत:
iṣur lipto na karṇī syād asatām etad āyudham | yathārtham eva yoddhavyaṃ na kruddhyet jighāṃsataḥ ||
যুদ্ধে বিষমাখা তীর কিংবা কাঁটাযুক্ত (কর্ণী) তীর ব্যবহার করা উচিত নয়; এগুলি অসৎ লোকদের অস্ত্র। সত্য ও শিষ্ট রীতিতেই যুদ্ধ করা উচিত। আর যে তোমাকে বধ করতে উদ্যত, তার প্রতি ক্রোধে অন্ধ না হয়ে, যথোচিত প্রতিকার করো—ধর্মসীমার মধ্যে থেকে।
