Vāmadeva’s Counsel on Rooted Kingship and Non-violent Victory (वामदेवोपदेशः—दृढमूलराजधर्मः)
यस्य स्फीतो जनपद: सम्पन्न: प्रिययाजक: । संतुष्टपुष्टसचिवो दृढमूल: स पार्थिव:
yasya sphīto janapadaḥ sampannaḥ priyayājakaḥ | santuṣṭa-puṣṭa-sacivo dṛḍha-mūlaḥ sa pārthivaḥ ||
যার জনপদ সমৃদ্ধ, ধন-ধান্যে পরিপূর্ণ, তাকে প্রিয় জেনে যজ্ঞাদি দ্বারা সম্মান করতে উদ্গ্রীব প্রজায় ভরা, এবং যার মন্ত্রীরা সন্তুষ্ট ও সুপুষ্ট—সেই রাজাই দৃঢ়মূল বলে গণ্য।
