Treasury Security, Protection of Informants, and the Kalakavṛkṣīya Exemplum (Śānti Parva 83)
यथा स्यात् सुधृतो दण्डो यथा च सुकृतं कृतम् । तथा समीक्ष्य भगवन् श्रेयसे विनियुड्धक्ष्य माम्
yathā syāt sudhṛto daṇḍo yathā ca sukṛtaṁ kṛtam | tathā samīkṣya bhagavan śreyase viniyujjhakṣya mām, bhagavan |
ভীষ্ম বললেন— “ভগবন! বিচার করে এমন নির্দেশ দিন যাতে রাজদণ্ড আমার দ্বারা দৃঢ়ভাবে ও ন্যায়পূর্বক ধারণ হয়, এবং আমার হাতে সৎকর্মই সম্পন্ন হয়। এ সব বিবেচনা করে আমাকে পরম কল্যাণের পথে নিয়োজিত করুন।”
