दुर्व्याह्वताच्छड्कमानो दुष्कृताद्‌ दुरधिषछितात्‌ | दुरासिताद्‌ दुर्वजितादिल्धितादड्रचेष्टितात्‌

Transliteration

durvyāhṛtāc chaḍkamāno duṣkṛtād duradhiṣṭhitāt | durāsitād durvajitād īḍhitād duṣceṣṭitāt ||

Translation

ভীষ্ম বললেন—সদা সতর্ক থাকতে হবে, যাতে মুখ থেকে কোনো অশোভন কথা বেরিয়ে না যায় এবং কোনো দুষ্কর্ম সংঘটিত না হয়; আর উঠতে, আসনে বসতে, চলতে, ইশারা করতে বা অঙ্গচালনায় যেন কোনো অশিষ্টতা বা অসম্মান না ঘটে।
