Transliteration

atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | gītaṃ kaikeyarājena hriyamāṇena rakṣasā ||

Translation

এ বিষয়েও পণ্ডিতেরা এক প্রাচীন ইতিহাসের দৃষ্টান্ত দেন—রাক্ষসের দ্বারা অপহৃত হতে হতে কেকয়-রাজা যে বাক্য উচ্চারণ করেছিলেন, সেই কথাই কাহিনিতে গীত হয়েছে।
