अथ राष्ट्रमुपायेन भुज्यमान सुरक्षितम् । जनयत्यतुलां नित्यं कोशवृद्धि युधिछ्विर,युधिष्ठिर! न््यायसंगत उपायसे राष्ट्रको सुरक्षित रखते हुए उसका उपभोग किया जाय अर्थात् करके रूपमें उससे धन लिया जाय तो वह सदा राजाके कोशकी अनुपम वृद्धि करता है
atha rāṣṭram upāyena bhujyamānaṃ surakṣitam | janayaty atulāṃ nityaṃ kośa-vṛddhiṃ yudhiṣṭhira ||
হে যুধিষ্ঠির! ন্যায়সঙ্গত উপায়ে রাষ্ট্রকে নিরাপদ রেখে যদি রাজস্ব সংগ্রহ করা হয়, তবে তা সর্বদা রাজার কোষাগারের অতুল বৃদ্ধি ঘটায়।
