Daṇḍanīti and the King as the Cause of Yuga-Order (दण्डनीतिः राजधर्मश्च युगकारणत्वम्)
संस्थानेषु च सर्वेषु पुरेषु नगरेषु च । मध्ये च नरशार्दूल तथा राजनिवेशने,नरसिंह! इसी प्रकार सभी पड़ावोंपर, बड़े-बड़े गाँवों और नगरोंमें, अन्तःपुरमें तथा राजमहलके आस-पास भी रक्षक सैनिकोंकी नियुक्ति करनी चाहिये
saṁsthāneṣu ca sarveṣu pureṣu nagareṣu ca | madhye ca naraśārdūla tathā rājaniveśane ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—হে নরশার্দূল! সকল শিবির ও অবস্থানস্থলে, গ্রাম-নগরে, অন্তঃপুরের মধ্যে এবং রাজনিবাসের চারিদিকেও যথাবিধি প্রহরী নিযুক্ত করা উচিত।
