Āśrama-dharma: Duties of the Four Life-Stages (आश्रमधर्मः)
राज्ञा वा समनुज्ञात: काम॑ कुर्वीत धार्मिक: । तस्य वृत्तिं प्रवक्ष्यामि यच्च तस्योपजीवनम्
rājñā vā samanujñātaḥ kāmaṁ kurvīta dhārmikaḥ | tasya vṛttiṁ pravakṣyāmi yac ca tasyopajīvanam ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—অথবা রাজার যথাযথ অনুমতি পেলে ধর্মপরায়ণ ব্যক্তি নিজের ইচ্ছামতো কোনো কর্ম করতে পারে। এখন আমি তার উপযুক্ত জীবিকা ও বৃত্তির কথা বলব, যাতে সে ধর্মানুগভাবে জীবনধারণ করতে পারে।
