दानपात्रापात्र-निर्णयः / Determining Worthy Gifts, Recipients, and Permissible Food
भार्गवाच्च्यवनाच्चापि वेदानड्रोपबृंहितान् । प्रतिपेदे महाबाहुर्वसिष्ठाच्चरितव्रतः,“ब्रह्मचर्यव्रतका पालन करके महाबाहु भीष्मने भृगुवंशी च्यवन तथा महर्षि वसिष्ठसे वेदाड़ोंसहित वेदोंका अध्ययन किया है
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
bhārgavāc chyavanāc cāpi vedān aṅgopabṛṃhitān |
pratipede mahābāhur vasiṣṭhāc caritavrataḥ ||
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন— মহাবাহু, ব্রতনিষ্ঠ ভীষ্ম ব্রহ্মচর্য পালন করে ভৃগুবংশীয় চ্যবন এবং মহর্ষি বশিষ্ঠের নিকট থেকে সাঙ্গ বেদসমূহ যথাবিধি অধ্যয়ন করে সম্পূর্ণরূপে আয়ত্ত করেছিলেন।
