यत्र देवो महाबाहु: शाश्वतः पुरुषोत्तम: । अनादिनिधनो विप्र किमाश्नर्यमत: परम्
yatra devo mahābāhuḥ śāśvataḥ puruṣottamaḥ | anādinidhano vipra kim āścaryam ataḥ param ||
নাগ বলল— হে ব্রাহ্মণ! এর চেয়ে বড় আশ্চর্য আর কী—যে সূর্যের অসাধারণ তেজে মহাবাহু, শাশ্বত, অনাদি-অনন্ত পুরুষোত্তম স্বয়ং অধিষ্ঠিত? তাঁর থেকেই নানাবিধ বীজের উৎপত্তি, তাঁরই আশ্রয়ে এই সমগ্র পৃথিবী স্থাবর-জঙ্গমসহ ধারণ হয়েছে। যখন সূর্যমণ্ডলে স্বয়ং নারায়ণ দীপ্তিমান, তখন তার চেয়ে বড় আশ্চর্য কী?
