Transliteration

gomatyāstv eṣa puline tvad-adarśana-samutsukaḥ | āsīno vartayan brahma brāhmaṇaḥ saṃśita-vrataḥ ||

Translation

ভীষ্ম বললেন—গোমতী নদীর বালুকাময় তীরে কঠোর ব্রতধারী এক ব্রাহ্মণ বসে আছেন। তিনি বেদমন্ত্র পাঠ করতে করতে আপনার দর্শনের জন্য ব্যাকুল হয়ে রয়েছেন।
