वैशम्पायन उवाच शृणु राजन् यथा<<चष्ट फाल्गुनस्य हरि: प्रभु: । प्रसन्नात्मा55त्मनो नाम्नां निरुक्त गुणकर्मजम्
vaiśampāyana uvāca | śṛṇu rājan yathā caṣṭa phālgunasya hariḥ prabhuḥ | prasannātmā ātmano nāmnāṁ niruktaṁ guṇa-karma-jam ||
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন—হে রাজন, শোনো। যেমন সর্বশক্তিমান প্রভু হরি প্রসন্নচিত্তে ফাল্গুন (অর্জুন)-কে তাঁর নিজ নামসমূহের গুণ ও কর্মানুসারে যথাযথ নিরুক্তি ব্যাখ্যা করেছিলেন, তেমনই আমি তোমাকে অবিকল বলছি—শোনো।
